Cody Sweat, originally from Brazoria, TX, moved to Wharton to play baseball at Wharton County Junior College. Cody married Kelly Sabrsula Sweat and they now have 4 boys and a girl. As a family they are very active in Hunting and Fishing, as well as watching their kids perform in baseball, softball, football, and gymnastics.

Cody earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston in Victoria (UHV) and started his career with a local oilfield company before being introduced to insurance and financial services in 2014. It was at this position that Cody found a passion for helping others realize their life insurance and financial service needs.

When presented with an opportunity to join State Farm, at the retirement of Charles Chambers of 37 years, Cody knew he would be a great addition to the State Farm organization to serve others and lead the community to be a better place to live, work, and conduct business.
